Since April 2002, up to 14 PhD scholarships were available for 2+1 years for candidates, whose degree in chemistry or physics is found to be at least equivalent to the german Diplom (typically, this will be a M.Sc. degree).
We also invited motivated foreign students currently working on their Masters or Honours thesis in a related field to join us for 1-3 months for the evaluation of a possible PhD thesis at our graduate school. We may be able to contribute to the travelling expenses and the extra costs of living. Please discuss this option with your thesis advisor.
Applications for Ph.D. scholarships are no longer possible.
